Camille Calimlim Touton spent more than two decades shaping federal water policy at its highest levels — from drafting historic legislation on Capitol Hill to leading the Bureau of Reclamation through the worst megadrought in twelve centuries. As the 24th Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation, she guided the agency through the most severe megadrought on record, brokered the landmark 2023 Lower Basin Consensus on the Colorado River, and stewarded an historic $8.3 billion infrastructure portfolio under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
